This DC jack is a replacement for the terminal on the Nanode board so that a
PSU with a 2.1mm plug can be plug straight in.
Note : If you are going to use a 9V supply on the Nanode then a heatsink should be fitted to the voltage regulator.
This DC power jack/connector is just like the other one that we carry except that it's terminated with breadboard-friendly pins instead of wide solder terminals. These are also compatible with our DC wall supplies and have a 5mm jack, with a 2.1mm center pole diameter.
